Hello Martha,
I love your column. I always look forward to reading it in the paper and I miss it when it's not there. I am 53 and I can relate to what you write. It is often hilarious and so spot on. Have you ever thought of writing your memoirs?? I bet it would be a hoot!! Keep writing.
Sincerely, CS

Ms. Morgan, I am a fan of your newspaper articles and often cut them out for my Mom. She is 86 years young and lives in Victoria. She loves your articles and I bought your [first] book for her. She is on the verge (in the next year or two, maybe) of moving out of her home and into an apartment. You had a whole series of articles on moving out of your home and I would love to send them to my Mom.
How do I get your past articles, and where can I find your 2nd book?
Thank you for your consideration and for providing me which such wonderful, insightful reading.

Dear Martha,
Your column [Aging Brains] in the Humboldt Journal gave me a rare chuckle. Thank you. I too do crosswords and relate precisely.

Hi Martha,
I enjoy reading your column. I really like the down to earth simplicity of your style. You do that very well and consequently are able to connect with your audience in a very real sense. Without a doubt your subjects touch someone because they are always topics and feelings that touch us all somehow. So thanks.

Dear Martha,
"Have I told you lately that I love you....". No, I guess it's been a while.
Your columns come so close to home so often that I can't help but admire a young lady who is willing to share her thoughts and feelings. This time you may even have helped me to make up my mind.
I love my little home with it's trees, birds, flowers, independence, but I was never built to be 'alone'.
Thank you for being you,
B
